Welcome! I’m Allison, a poet based in California. My poetry is intimate and lyrical, exploring the everyday moments that hold universes of meaning. In addition to writing, I spend my days helping others as a speech-language pathologist, chasing after my son, and reading submissions for The Turning Leaf Journal. I’m honored that you are here. My first poetry book is set to debut in 2025! Using motherhood as a backdrop, this collection explores the way wonder and beauty collide with the harsh edges of this world. In one way or another, I have been working on this collection for the past four years. I can’t wait for you to read it.
